Yesterday, I was sitting on the couch playing with Jordan, and she finally did it for me. I had been telling her earlier, that it was time for her to laugh, I wanted to know what it sounds like. She listened. While Bryce and I were sitting on the bed with her a little later on, she did it again. He got out the camera and taped it. I know she laughs at least one good laugh in the video. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did the first time I heard it.

Jordan's blessing
We had Jordan blessed on the 7th of September. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of her that day, I know, bad mommy. But, I do have some pictures that we took of her in the dress when we did her newborn pictures, and I plan to get one of Danny holding her in the dress, probably next Sunday, then he will be in church clothes. I asked Danny if he would bless her for me while I was still pregnant, and both of us cried about it, big boobs, right? I invited my Uncle Kelly and my Dad to be in the circle as well. If Anthony and Justin had been able to be there, I would have loved for them to be in the circle, most of all, I wish Grandpa could have been here for it. But, at least I was able to use the dress he made. I am hoping I will have a boy one day, so I can use the blessing jumper he made for me. It was my wedding gift from him. He hadn't done one in a really long time, and I think he was a little if'y about whether he really wanted to do one, but he did, I guess because I was his Princess. I cried, Danny did a great job, and I am so grateful to him. But, I figured I would give him practice for when he had his own beautiful baby to bless with Ariane. There were a few memorable moments during the sacrament meeting that I have to post on here. The first was Aspyn, I am pretty sure neither she nor Delaynee have ever been to church. As they were passing out the sacrament, Aspyn turned to Diana and asked her what they were handing out, then she asked if she could have some. The other was when Noah was watching Aspyn play her Pet Vet game on her Nintendo DS. He kept saying, out loud might I add, "She's playing poker, she's playing cards." It was hard to hold it together. We invited our family over to the house for food after the blessing. We had spent all of Saturday making the house presentable. Considering the lunch was a last minute deal, we did a pretty good job of pulling it off. I was glad when the weekend was over, but it was nice to get Jordan blessed.

Jordan can roll over
Misty told me on Wednesday, that Jordan laughed at her, and rolled over twice, back to front. (even though it was on the couch, which is sloped, so she had a little bit of a handicap to help her) I was kind of upset not to be there for these things, and I tried my hardest to get her to do either of them for me Wednesday night, with no luck. Last night, while we were doing tummy time, she rolled over for me, from front to back. She did it 3 times before I even tried to catch it on camera, twice to her right and once to her left. I wanted to make sure it wasn't a fluke. So, I took video of it for Bryce to see. And, while I was drying my hair after my shower, she rolled from her back to front for Bryce, no fluke, and no handicap. I haven't been able to video the back to front yet, but have no fear, it will soon happen and I will post it too. If you couldn't tell, I am so excited, and I just had to share with everyone.

Wheeler Farm
Jordan and I took a day trip to Wheeler Farm with Misty, Noah, Linsey, Ashley and Karissa a few weeks back. We didn't stay very long, but it was so much fun to watch Noah try to feed the ducks, even though he was afraid of the pigeons. We took the tractor ride, which was so cute, because Noah is obsessed with tractors. He was mesmerized by it. And, I even let Misty get a picture of me on the "fake" horse.
Update
So, here is a little update, not much to say. I do a little routine with Jordan, sit ups. She loves it, and thinks it is the coolest thing to be sitting up. She gets so excited. She loves standing up, and acts like she wants to take a step. When we do tummy time, she brings her legs up like she is trying to crawl, and even scoots herself forward a little. I know you shouldn't let babies watch tv, but Jordan really loves it. If it is on, she is in a trance. We have decided her favorite show is Transformers. I have a video of her watching some of it.

2 month Dr appt.
I took Jordan to her 2 month doctor appt yesterday. They measured her at 23 1/2 inches and weighed her at 11 1/2 pounds. On the paper they give you with the percentages, it shows she is about in the 90% for height and about the 75% for weight. She had to have 3 shots, and she screamed her way through them, and for a few minutes after. (thank goodness for Tylenol, and the doctor for giving me a sample, since I hadn't bought any yet) The doctor checked her soft spot, and told me it is closing up too fast, so he wanted an x-ray done and sent me down to the lab. I had to hold Jordans head still while they did an x-ray of the front and one of the side of her head. Once again, she screamed her way through it. I talked to the doctor's assistant today, and thank the Lord, the radiologist says everything looks normal with her head. I am not sure what I would have done if there was a problem. Just having to get the x-rays done scared me out of my mind. I am so grateful to have such a healthy baby, and that she has been such a laid back mellow baby so far. She has even slept 8 straight hours during the night twice in the last week. Even with that said, I feel lucky with her sleep at night, she normally sleeps 5 to 6 hours during the first stretch and about 3 or 4 the second. From all the stories I have heard of babies waking 3 or 4 times a night, Jordan's 1 time she wakes seems like nothing.
Cute pictures
My sister-in-law Rene took some really cute pictures of Jordan while she was watching her for me, so I will post them for you all to see. They look so professional, and she did a great job at catching her at the right time with her smiles. I wish I was that talented. (maybe she will be nice enough to give me some pointers) Rene has been great to help me out with watching Jordan when Misty has to work. I really appreciate her help, and I am glad she enjoys having Jordan around. Thanks a ton Rene, I don't know what I would do without you.
