The story of Easton Jax

Easton Jax finally made his grand entrance into this world, on Sunday January 2, 2011 I had actually been having a few contractions starting late Friday night, on New Years Eve. On New Years Day, I had them on and off most of the day, ranging anywhere from 20 minutes between to an hour between.

We went to dinner at La Frontera for the 60th anniversary of Bryce's grandma and grandpa Jarrad at 7, and I was shocked to get to see Mikell and Trent Terry there. (seeing as they live in St George) I didn't get to talk to Mikell very long, but it was nice to be able to see her for a minute. During dinner, the contractions started coming on more often, about a constant 20 minutes between. I figured we would be heading to the hospital sometime in the middle of the night. I was scheduled to go in on Tuesday the 4th to be induced, because I was worried about just that, having to wake Jordan up in the middle of the night and find somewhere to take her.

I couldn't sleep at all first thing Saturday night, so I decided to go into the kitchen/family room so I wouldn't bother Bryce. I did fall asleep for about an hour, until just before 1:00 am, but I woke up with pretty intense contractions. I started timing them, and between 2:00 and 6:00 am, they got to where they were consistently 4-5 minutes apart for over an hour. Then, after 6, they pretty much cut back to the 20 minutes again. I was a little frustrated, as I was hoping this was finally it. I had been pretty miserable with reflux the last couple weeks.

After talking to both my Mom and my mother-in-law Diana, I decided to call in to the hospital and see what the nurses thought, since they were still painful, just not as close together. They told me to call the on call Doctor for my doctor, because they weren't allowed to give advice over the phone, understandably. When he called me back, he told me to at least come in and be checked to see if I had progressed from my last Dr appointment.

We took Jordan to Diana and headed over to Riverton Hospital. They took us into the triage room in Labor and Delivery and got me all hooked up to the moniters to watch the babys heartbeat and my contractions. When the nurse came in to check me, I was sure she was going to say I was the same, almost a 2, and send me home. I was a bit shocked when she told me I was dilated to 5cm, and completely effaced. HOLY COW, those contractions did some major progression. Since my contractions weren't being consistent, they kept me hooked up for about a half hour to watch them, and then came in and asked me to walk around for another half hour, and they would check me again, to see if I was still progressing. Sure enough, when they checked again, I was at a 6 so they went ahead and got me into a labor room.

Of course, I was very eager to get my epidural. I don't know about everyone else, but the way I see it, they offer them for a reason, and I planned on utilizing it from day 1 for both of my deliveries. I DO NOT like the pain. When the anesthesiologist (wow, I probably spelled that wrong) came in, he was wearing a BYU shirt, and I just had to give him a hard time, since I am a Utah fan, then he threatened to leave, and I changed my mind, because I wanted that epidural. He was a good sport, and it makes for a funny memory of my delivery. I really am grateful I got the epidural, however this time it was so much stronger than with Jordan. I felt pressure and could control and move my legs the first time, but this time, my right leg was completely DEAD, and I felt NOTHING. Which was a little annoying.

Around 3:45, my nurse Crystal, who was awesome by the way, came in and told me she would check on me again in about 40 minutes, unless I felt pressure like I needed to push, and to call if I did. Like I said, I felt NOTHING so that wasn't going to happen. They watched the moniters from the desk, and saw the heart rate of the baby changing, and came back in about 15 minutes later. She checked me, and said I was ready. I sure didn't feel ready, and was prepared for a little bit of pushing. They started breaking down the bed, and got the Doctor in my room. When they were all ready, they waited until I had a contraction, and told me to push. I took a breath, pushed, another breath, pushed again, and a third time, until he told me to stop pushing. I mentioned that I was so numb, it didn't even feel like I was pushing, and my Mom immediately said, "His head is out!" HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!! I wasn't ready to have it over with so quick. I pushed one last time, and it was over.

They took him to the warmer to do all their tests and weigh and measure. He was officially born at 16:18 (or 4:18 pm) weighing in at 7 pounds 14 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. Diana and Jordan had come into the room less than 5 minutes before I actually delivered, so Jordan may not remember it as she gets older, but she was there when her baby brother was born, which I feel is a really neat thing.

He is such a good baby so far, he sleeps most of the time, and even when he is awake, he is just as happy and content as can be. I have only heard him really cry maybe 3 times. He slept right through his circumcision. The only complaint I have so far is that he doesn't want to nurse. He isn't patient enough to wait for the let down and the milk to come. So, I started giving him formula, and I now have a pump, and my goal is to get enough milk pumped that I can solely feed him milk that I have pumped, and completely stop the formula. I really enjoyed the bonding that I had with Jordan while nursing, and was looking forward to that with Easton. Maybe eventually he will start to nurse directly from me, and the pumping can just be at work.

Jordan has been better than I expected. First thing every morning, she asks to see Baby Easton. She is so helpful in the mornings, and wants to be involved in everything I do with the baby, but then as the day progresses, she gets a little less interested, and wants my attention more, and is frustrated that she isn't the sole focus of everything I do. I know it will get better with time.

I will try to keep better updates about both Jordan and Easton, but as everyone knows, it will be a little harder now, with a newborn to care for. Here are some of the pictures they took at the hospital of my beautiful baby boy Easton Jax.

35 Week picture....

I am so ready for the next 4 weeks to hurry on by. January 4th, unless something happens all on it own before that date.

My Dr appointment.....

went well. She measured me again, and this time said that I am measuring right on track. So, we decided he was lying vertex at my last appointment, kind of messing up the measurements. We talked about a date to induce me, which makes me feel a little better. I am just worried about what it going to happen with Jordan because I don't want to wake her up in the middle of the night if I happen to start labor then, and try to find someone who can watch her because everyone works. It looks like we will be doing the inducing on the 4th of January assuming I don't actually go into labor before that on my own, and there aren't any other problems that would cause us to have to do it any sooner. It is scary how close it really is. I can't believe I am about to be a Mom of 2. I will try to keep a better update going these last couple weeks of my pregnancy.

A post long overdue.......

Obviously my plan to keep better updated with this blog has gone to the dogs. This pregnancy has been so much harder than my first. I really didn't think of myself as old, but my body seems to think otherwise. I have had so many pains that I am sure I didn't have with Jordan, and it is something I have to suffer through on a daily basis. I have dizzy spells, where I feel like I am going to faint and can't seem to catch my breath. My doctor tested my thyroid and went through a whole bunch of other scenarios, and it seems like it is just something that I have to deal with, because there really is no explanation.

My last appointment was a scary one for me, it was the day of the supposed "Blizzard" we were going to have, and they had called all their appointments to come in early so they could have all the patients home before the storm. So the nurse and tech came in and did the measurements, and listened to the heartbeat before the doctor came in to keep everything moving. When the doctor did come in, she wanted to measure me again, because she thought they had measured me smaller. She told me that I have to start coming in weekly to moniter his growth. At the time, she wasn't sure if it was because he is possibly lying sideways or he is just smaller. So, tomorrow I will go back, and hopefully get something more clear as to whether he is lying different, or really smaller than he should be.

Here is a 33 week picture to get you by until I post again.

Baby BOY Stanley

As a very impatient person, and Bryce being impatient too, we decided that as soon as we could try to find out what we are having, we wanted to find out. I have held on to so many clothes and "items" from Jordan, that it would be nice to find out, so I can either hang on to them if it was a girl or get rid of them if we are having a boy.

Saturday July 17, we went to Fetal Fotos. And, if I don't say so myself, they were so professional and nice. With Jordan we went to Fetal Studios in South Towne Mall, and while they were nice, it was so impersonal. This time, it felt so comfortable, and a lot like a Dr's office. I wasn't sitting on some tiny hard table/chair, they have large comfortable couch like tables to lay on. The tech got everything set up, and started doing the ultrasound. As she was doing everything, she was showing us what we were looking at and describing what everything was.

She got to the point where she was looking for the gender, and was having a bit of a hard time finding it, because the umbilical cord was positioned right between the legs, and making it harder to tell. After trying for a few minutes, she had me lay on my left side, and went out to get the tech who does the 3D portion. She tried for about another 45 seconds and was able to get the money shot before we moved on to 3D. Hopefully the pictures speak for themselves.

The whole family is "EXTREMELY" excited. On the Stanley side this will make 3 grandsons to the 7 granddaughters. The other grandsons are now 19 and 17, so it has been a long stretch. But we are finally here.

Finally

Here are Jordan's 2 year pictures. They are in a slide, and there are quite a few of them, so if you have a little bit of extra time, stop a while and check them out. As I said before, Rach and Kris really did an awesome job, and they were so good with Jordan. They really went all out to make sure that she was comfortable with them, and could be herself for the session.

Enjoy them!

Pictures

Jordan will turn 2 on the 20th, which just happens to be Father's Day this year. I took her to have her pictures taken on Tuesday, by a great couple who recently did some pictures for my sister. They were so cute with Jordan, they got right down on the ground and crawled around playing with her, so she would be comfortable with them. Here is a little sneek-peak of the session, and of course I will post more of them once I get the disc.

Her website is http://rach-smiles.blogspot.com

They also took some pictures of my gorgeous niece Linsey, and I must say, I don't think they could have done a better job. It was a mixture of great photographer, and beautiful girl.

I went to my first Dr appointment on Tuesday morning as well. They just took some blood, gave me my goody bag and I had an ultrasound done to make sure everything was looking good. The ultrasound measured me at 10 weeks and 3 days, which is just a couple days off of measuring off my cycle. I will be going back in July, but I was lucky enough to get myself some good medicine to help fight off the yuckies and nausea that I can't seem to get rid of.

Tuesday was a busy day, we also had to take Diva over to the Vet because she was walking a little sideways, with her head tilted. We knew something was in her ear, and after an overnight stay with the vet, and being sedated to remove them, they found 10, yes that is right, TEN foxtails in her ear canal. She is doing better, but they kind of tore up the inside of her canal, so we have to flush it, put drops in it and give her antibiotics for 10 days. She doesn't like her ear to be touched, and whines whenever I do, so I have to pin her down to take care of business.

Long time... no post.......

A lot of things have changed over the last couple of months. Jordan is talking more and more everyday, and blows me away with the things she comes up with/repeats. In exactly 1 month from today she will be 2 years old.

Bryce and I decided that we wanted to have another baby, and after a little bit of trying, we have succeeded. I figured since we have told both of our families, I can go ahead and post it in the blog. I am currently 7 weeks along, with an EDD of January 6th 2011. Depending on the time/day you ask Jordan she is either excited to be a big sister or just tells you "NO" when you say anything about the baby. We are definately excited about it, but secretly, I keep wondering what I have gotten myself into, I am SCARED to death about taking care of 2 kids. Who knows where or if we will even be into Potty training with Jordan by the time the new baby is here, meaning a possibility of 2 kids in diapers. YUCK! But I know that when the time comes I will be on board, and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. As much joy as I have gotten from Jordan, my life will be more full that I ever could have guessed, with 2 beautiful kids.

My first appointment with the OB isn't until June 15th, I will be sure to keep updated as much as I can remember with my pregnancy brain that I apparently already have. I have chosen to switch my doctor. I absolutely loved Dr Robinson for the 5+ years I went to her, however it doesn't make sense for me to continue with an OB who is downtown when I no longer work downtown. It was more convenient, which was the reason I went to her in the first place. Now that I work within blocks of my house, I decided to find one closer, and it was easy as pie to find someone who knew a good one out here, since Ariane is pregnant too. She is about 6 weeks ahead of me, and has been seeing a Dr at Riverton Hospital, who I am now scheduled to see, and will be delivering at Riverton as well. (I really didn't want to be driving up the hill to LDS Hospital in the middle of winter/possible storm in labor anyway.)

I hope that everything is GREAT with all of you, and hopefully I will be able to be a better blogger through out this pregnancy.

Family Pics 2009

Here are the family pictures that we had taken the week before Christmas. I wanted to get out Holiday cards, but there just didn't end up being near enough time to do that, since they were done so close to Christmas. I really love my photographer, as always she did an awesome job. Thanks Courtney! I hope everyone enjoys them!

Our version of "LUCK"

So, the new year is here, and I really had made myself believe that things would be better. I was even psyching myself up for it.

Even though I know we aren't very far into the year, it still feels like the bad of 2009 continues to spill over into 2010. Don't get me wrong, I am very grateful for everything I have, a home, a husband, with a job, a beautiful little girl, a job of my own, enough money to pay my bills (even if it is a little tight) a family who I know I can count on no matter what I need help with and so many other things.

However, I also feel like we could use even just a month, where we don't have walls crumbling around us. Jordan, has been sick with Upper respiratory infections on and off since August. She has finally gone close to 2 weeks with nothing more than a little runny nose and small cough. I have had my own bodily health issues, have 2 diagnosed Sinus infections and 1 that I am pretty sure was, but never went to the instacare. I have so many other things going on as well, but that would just be TMI for me to share with you.

Our house, is almost litterally, the walls crumbling around us. A picture window in our kitchen/living room is falling out the back of the house, and contributing to a small (or not so small) leakage of cold and wet into our house. We have a cement wall that is between our driveway and our neighbors driveway which, lucky us, is falling into our side. There is a crack top to bottom where part of the wall leans almost a foot further into our driveway than the rest of the main wall. We decided to add/change a few small things in our kitchen and basement, so once we get a little extra money, so we can start on them, we realize how much more we need new tires for my Blazer.

Bryce took it down first thing this morning and had tires put in it. On my way home at lunch today, I stopped for gas, after filling it, I get back in it, and try to start it. All I hear is A LOT of clicking! Dead Battery, yay for car problems! Some very rude man sat in his WARM truck behind me at the pump impatiently waiting for me to move. I finally got out and told him I couldn't go anywhere as I was DEAD! He backed up and drove around to another pump to fill his truck. (I was quite irritated with the lack of chivalry as you can see) Thankfully a very nice girl on the other side of my pump asked if I needed help, and told me she would jump me after she finished filling her car up. With the help of a couple of very polite boys, we got it running so I could at least get home. Upon my arrival home, and half my lunch hour gone, by the way I work 5 minutes from my house, Bryce went out to start our truck. He had just fixed it on New Years day of the horrendous oil leak our driveway still has scars from. Not 2 minutes later, he comes back in the house to tell me, "You know, if it weren't for bad luck, we wouldn't have any luck at all!" As soon as he started it, so much diesel was dripping from underneath it, that you wouldn't expect it to be able to run for 10 minutes with a full tank. As Bryce already needed fuel, we went straight to the gas station to put enough diesel in it so he could get me back to work, and get to a store for a new battery to put in my Blazer so we could have at least 1 running vehicle, but not so much diesel that we would be feeding the driveway $70 worth by filling it up.

All that said, when I am having a better day, I will post about the better aspects of the last couple months. We had family pictures, that I think turned out great, and Jordan loved everything about Christmas. I know there are many people, and even many of them are my friends and family, who are going through their own difficult trials, and to you, I am praying for you all and wishing for the best outcome possible. Hopefully the saying, "It can only get better from here" is true for you and me, and I will try to continue believing that 2010 is going to be a good year, more likely than today, that belief will return after this horrendous day or possibly week is over.

A weekend off....

I got lucky enough to have a whole weekend off, after about a month of working Saturdays. Originally, it was planned that Bryce was going to be working some OT, but it didn't work out that way. Jordan and I were already planning on going to Nana's house to hang out, and make some Homemade Oreo's, so Bryce decided to come along. He ended up helping Grandpa with some panels for the horse corrals, while we played and baked.

I got to spend a little bit of time with my very sweet and adorable little niece Irelyn. She is so laid back, Jordan was a pretty simple baby, but that Irelyn just goes with the flow of everything. We made our Oreo's, which are delicious by the way, with the little change I made of using Mint extract rather than Vanilla for the filling. Jordan ran around and played with Delaynee, and Aspyn colored many a beautiful picture of everyone's favorite thing from Halloween.

We took a ride to Cabelas, so that I could make a deal with one of the employees who work on the gun counter. He had some old Duck Stamps from the 70's and 80's, and Bryce and I have been collecting them for a few years. Each year, we buy 2. 1 for him to hunt with, and 1 to just keep. The ones that he sold me are in awesome condition.

I also got the chance to meet my niece Fernanda this week. She was finally approved a Visa on Permanent Resident Status, and arrived in the good ol' USA on Wednesday night. We met them at the airport, and she and Noah were so cute together, even though neither of them understand a word the other one says. Thursday, we went to the zoo, a whole bunch of girls, Me, Jordan, Ariane, Fernanda, Martianne, Emily, Kaylee and Megan, and then Dan. Poor guy, he had to put up with all those girls for hours on end. It was a blast for the girlies though.

I am hoping to find a couple good U shirts that match Jordan's U cheerleader outfit. We need to get some family pictures taken for Xmas cards before it is too late. Only I have a hard decision in front of me. I have to choose from 2 photographers, 1 who did my engagements, bridals, wedding, prego and newborn pics of Jordan, and the other who is a very old friend. Both are great at what they do, and both have awesome deals. How do you decide on something like that?

Long time no post.......

Things have been a little crazy the last month or so. I am now officially an employee with the State of Utah. Although I have been working for them for the last year, I was not in a merited position. One came open in my office, I applied for it, and was it was offered to me. I finally have insurance, personal time, sick time and holiday pay. So nice. I haven't had the full package in almost 2 years, since I left Page Brake, and it feels nice to get back to having all those perks. At the same time, I am now working more hours as well. I went the whole summer on 3 days a week, and it is a bit of a shock to me, and to Jordan, to be back working 5 days a week. But, the paychecks will be nice.

Bryce's Aunt Toni was married last Saturday the 19th, in Bluebell Utah. We went out and stayed the night. Sunday, as everyone was helping to clean up, and getting ready to head home, Bryce thought it would be a good time to injure himself. He was playing with Jordan, chasing her around the yard, and jumped over her. When he landed, he rolled his ankle. We were all sure, including the ER doctors, that it was a break. After doing X-rays, we found out it was a bad sprain. Lucky us. I am afraid that he is in for a long healing process though, as good as he is with taking it easy.

I finally broke down and cut Jordan's bangs. I will have to find a before picture, but here is the after. They were a little crooked at first, but at least she can finally see. That is what matters, right? She talks so much, but most of the time it is just babble, or as we call it "Jordanese" She does have some understandable words:
Mama
Dada
Nana
Papa
Oos (I am pretty sure this is Shoes)
Hat
Horse
Night Night
She loves to repeat you when you say something. She tries so hard to talk to us, and it is the cutest thing.

I have to say, a good friend of mine lost his neice to a rare, inoperable brain tumor, called dipg a few months back, and it has really given me a new look on life, and how blessed I am that Jordan is healthy. I really could not imagine what her family goes through on a daily basis without their beautiful daughter/sister/neice/grandaughter/cousin. (if you are interested, check out the link under my "Families that inspire me" section on the right. Her name is Sadie Huish, and she was an amazing girl with more strength than I could ever dream of having) If you ever find your way to my blog Tiffany, please know that I think about you and your family often, and your strength has truly been an inspiration to me.

I also got brave and had my own hair cut. I have kept it long since before I started High School, only cutting a couple inches off here and there. So, this is the shortest I have had in about 15 years. I was a little apprehensive at first. I loved the cut, but I was scared to death about having to style it myself. I can now say, after a week of having the cut, that I am feeling more comfortable with styling it, and loving it too. I am so glad I did it. In fact, I am thinking of even going a little shorter in the next couple months. We'll see if I really have the nerve for that.

Just one more mention before I end my post. Another friend of mine that I worked with at Page Brake, lost his wife yesterday. They aren't sure how it happened, but he found her on the floor, first thing in the morning. They have 3 children, with 1 of them being on the extreme end of the Autism spectrum. She was the one who stayed home and cared for him, although Jerry was laid off from Page Brake in July. So, he has not been working, and now will have 3 children to care for on his own. Please just keep him in your thoughts or your prayers, no matter what your beliefs are. They are going to need it in the next couple weeks especially.

Jordan's 1st camping trip

At the last minute, we decided to go out to Duchesne camping. Bryce and I haven't been out there to camp in 3 years, and Jordan has never been camping, I know, horrible parents we have been. Since our trailer is still "Out of commission" we planned to sleep in a wall tent on an air mattress, while Jordan slept in Nana and Grandpa's trailer. If anyone remembers the wind here in Salt Lake on Saturday morning, you would understand why Vern didn't think the wall tent would be a good idea.

We packed up our clothes, supplies, Jordan and the dogs and headed out first thing Saturday morning, and it was a very long drive. Jordan refused to sleep, and screamed most of the way. Thank goodness it isn't more than a 3 hour drive. We went and picked up Vern's Rhino, so we could take Jordan on a "Wino Wide" as Delaynee calls it. (Rhino Ride) I was a little nervous, as the last time we went to Duchesne, we had only 2 dogs, and no baby. How were we going to handle it all.

As usual, it went over great, and I had nothing to worry about. The dogs ran and ran and ran, and fetched sticks from the river for as long as people would throw them in. Although the river was as dirty as I have ever seen it. Absolutely disgusting, and trying to keep the dogs out of it was impossible. Even Diva thought she needed to be a water dog for the weekend. We drove into Bluebell to see Aunt Toni and Bruce, even though we didn't actually get to see Bruce while we where there. He kept calling and telling Toni, "1 more load, and I will be there." It's ok though, at least we got to see the "Bluebell Mall" as Diana calls it. Cute little everything store that Bruce and Toni own.

We finally headed back to Duchesne, because Jordan needed a nap. She was being a little bit of a monster, going off no nap. We took Diva for a ride on the Rhino first, since Jordan fell asleep on the way back from Bluebell. Her little ears were so cute flappin in the wind. When we got back, we took Jordan into town to buy some decongestant for Bryce, he picked this weekend to get sick. We ate dinner and sat around the fire, Bruce and Toni came by till about midnight and talked with us. Bryce and I ended up sleeping in Vern and Diana's trailer too.

This morning, we woke up, ate breakfast and Jordan and her Grandpa Vern danced a little to the Stray Cats. After breakfast, we took Jordan for a Rhino Ride, she had a blast, but she wanted to drive more than ride. We packed up all our crap after the Rhino Ride, by the way, I HAVE got to get one of those, they are so much fun, and headed home. The dogs have done nothing but sleep since we got here, and I am not sure I will see their eyes again till at least Tuesday. So, to sum it up, we had a great weekend, Jordan had her 1st camping trip, and I can't wait to go again. I really miss not working holidays and weekends. We were always going to Duchesne camping.

Jordan's 1st birthday pictures

Long story short, Jordan had pictures taken the day before her birthday, they were awesome pictures, but in the end, just too expensive for me to actually buy them. She won the sitting in a contest, come to find out the photographer doesn't charge sitting fees anyway. So, I took her to Kiddie Kandids this morning, and had them redone. She was being little Miss Attitude, and in major need of a nap, but they did an awesome job anyway, and as usual, I love the pictures they do. So, here are her cute 1st birthday pictures, hope you all love them. Next, I am planning family pictures. Hopefully, I can just bully Bryce into doing it, because he keeps telling me he isn't going to go with it.

Jordan's birthday...

She is officially one. As of a little more than a week ago, so this post is a little late. We had a birthday party for her at Grandma Stanley's house, and it seems to have turned out rather well. She doesn't really understand it, but she did make out like a bandit on her presents. Thanks everyone who came, and even those of you would couldn't come, thanks for the birthday wishes for her. (Speaking of which, I need to get working on those Thank you cards) Anyway, she still isn't walking, I am glad that she waited for me, rather than doing it while I was in Hawaii. She can do it, I have seen her take 6 or 7 steps without a wobble, she just won't. Apparently she likes that she is speedy when she crawls. She was lucky enough to spend the week we were in Hawaii with her Grandma Diana, Aunt Amber and cousin Bailey, who were in town while we were gone. They taught her a new word, which officially happens to be her first, other than mama, dada and baba. That word is $h!t! Nice, right? She can also now say dog and Mousse, which I think is her favorite of our dogs. She gives kisses, loves and waves bye bye. Blankets, she loves them. First thing she does in the morning, hands me her empty bottle, then her blanket, and then puts her hands up for me to pick her up. We got a new neice on Monday the 22, her name is Irelyn, and from the pictures, she is cute as a button. I will be going to visit her this week, since I was in Hawaii when she was born, and haven't had the chance since I have been back. I love my little girl, who I think I will have to cease calling a baby soon. I haven't downloaded the pictures from her party, but when I do, I will get some on here.

So close to walking...

she can stand up on her own, but sometimes she is too scared to do it. I am afraid that she is going to start walking while I am in Hawaii, and I will miss her first steps. That would teach me. So, this is just going to be a quick little post, with a picture, and a video. I love the video, because it shows that I really do have awesome dogs. They put up with Jordan beating on them, because in the end, she still loves them, you will see her give Mousse a love in the video.

My new adventure.......

So, my new adventure as of yesterday, is Scentsy. I am going for it. I know that quite a few people are selling it nowadays, but I thought I would try. All the girls at my work we performing their Peer pressure on me, and talked me into it telling me they would buy from me. So, if anyone feels the need to take pity on me, and buy some from me, I would be glad to help you fulfill that need. I haven't gotten my consultant starter kit yet, but it is on it's way, hopefully by Wednesday or so this week. My new website is not all that exciting just yet, but give me time, I am still working on it.

Baby Mowgli

Here are a few cute pictures of Jordan (with her Elvis curl, it's always better before she goes to bed, right after her bath, and a little messed up by the time she wakes in the morning.) and a video of little Mowgli cub walking around on her hands and feet with her Jungle mates, Kasha, Mousse and Diva.

The latest and greatest

Ok, so I am extremely sorry, I have not been doing the best job of keeping everyone up to date. Jordan is now almost 10 months old, so hard to believe. She says Dada, all the time. When I try to get her to say Mama, she just comes back at me with Dada. But, the winner is when she wants something, she always says Mama. My heart be still. :) She plays patty cake, patting her hands together, and when you get to Rolling it, she tries so hard to roll it. She waves hello and bye bye, and we are currently working on some signs with signing time. My favorite thing she has learned though, is "Dancing Baby". Anytime music is playing, she will kick her little leg, and if she is standing up, she will bounce her little butt. And, I say "Dancing baby, dancing baby" I think she even says num num when she wants food or more food. It really amazes me how smart she is. She has a total of 6 teeth that are broken through the gums, and seems like they just keep on coming. Her new nickname is Mowgli, due to how she will crawl around on the balls of her feet and hands. Name really fits, considering our house is a bit of a jungle in itself. Diva is getting bigger, and Bryce and Justin gave her a little cut to tie us off until we can get her groomed after her 2nd set of shots. She looks like a little lion. Misty and I bought a membership to the Zoo. We have already been a couple times, and are planning to go again as soon as the weather warms up. I can't wait. It is so nice to be outside, especially since Jordan loves being outdoors. I promise to post more pictures as soon as I get more time.
