6 Month appointment

Here are the details, she is currently 16 lbs 5 oz and 27 inches long. 90% for height, 69% for weight and 66% for head size. She is tall! Wonder where she gets it from? She will probably be taller than I am by the time she is 12. He said she is healthy, and she got her first book. Dr. Montgomerie told me starting when they are 6 months, they get books with every vaccination. She got the routine 6 month vaccinations, as well as a flu shot, and we have to go back in a month for the booster. She took the shots pretty well, cried for about 10 seconds, and then I was able to distract her, and she was fine. Like the earlier video shows, she can now do the Army Crawl, sit unassisted but not sit herself up, and Bryce thinks she can say Dada. She will start babbling, saying dadadadadada, and apparently, that equals Dada. She is getting so much personality that I can hardly stand how cute she is. I really feel like I was blessed with such a good tempered, healthy, happy baby. Even with the cold she has had for the past week, she is still as happy as can be. When Ariane babysits her, she plays dress up, and takes pictures with my camera. She has gotten some cute pictures. I bought her some pajama's that have my work logo on them. Cute little BCI pajama's with a badge. Probably my favorite thing she has to wear right now.

Quick little Video

Here is a video of Jordan doing her newest trick. The Army Crawl. She can sit unassissted but she can't even sit herself up yet, and she is already on the move. I am taking her to her 6 month Dr appointment this afternoon, and I will post more pictures and make a good update after the appointment.

Jordan's pictures...

I took Jordan to Kidde Kandids today to have her pictures taken. It is really awful, when they take 13 or so pictures, and you can only choose 6 poses. So hard to choose. But here are a few of the cute cute pictures they took.

Jordan's temporary room

I have been waiting, a long time obviously, to be able to put Jordan in her own room. Technically, it is not finished yet, no carpet and a little more painting, but we bought a rug for temporary fix on the no carpet problem, and we are using the play yard with the bassinet top in it for her bed. (so we don't just have to take down the crib when we put carpet in) We also bought a glider/ottoman set. I have been WAITING for that part. I absolutely love sitting in it with her and rocking. It is so relaxing and it puts her right out, so she will actually cuddle with me. I am hoping my mother in law is right about that. She thinks Jordan won't cuddle with me because she can smell my milk, and that is what she thinks she should be getting if she is cuddling with me. Jordan will have her 6 month Dr appointment on the 22nd of this month, and I will be sure to let you all know the outcome. I am including a few new pictures, one of which is Jordan's victory hat from when Utah beat BYU. (We used her Utah cheerleader outfit to create it) And, so you all know, Mousse is doing soooooo much better. She is back to her puppy like self, bouncing around and playing. I love it, and even though I spent so much money to make sure she stayed alive, I still am grateful she is.
